Where it all began
Pollybell is a family-owned diverse organic farming business. The Brown family have a strong history in farming for the past 120 years and immense passion for growing healthy, affordable food whilst enhancing the land and surrounding environment. The farm covers 5,000 acres crossing the three county borders of Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and South Yorkshire.
Opening Browns at the Buttercross was a dream for Kate and James and a perfect extension to the Brown family farming roots.
We opened our doors in August 2020 as a new concept - combining chef prepared meals to be enjoyed at home prepared by the same Michelin trained chefs who can provide a fine dining experience right here in our private dining room.
